Gregory James Coar, Indianapolis, passed away on November 24, 2015 at home surrounded by his family.
Born May 24, 1950, “Greg” spent most of his childhood with his parents and grandparents in New Jersey. He graduated from North Central High School in 1968. From a very young age, Greg found a passion in training horses and was very successful in his endeavors throughout his life. He made many friends through his training and spent many of his later years traveling to a ranch in Arizona, a place that always held a special place in his heart.
He is survived by his wife, Holly Minton; two children, Kristin Coar (Donnie Pruett) and Mackenzie Coar; two grandchildren, Alejandra Coar and Lexis Coar-Mattick; and sister, Connie Roescher. Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Isabel and James “Jim” Coar, and brother Richard Coar. Private arrangements have been entrusted to Albertson’s Mortuary in Indianapolis.
