Ygnacio G. Basaldua, 78, passed away April 19, 2017. Originally from Corpus Christi Texas he moved to Northern Indiana in 1959, and later to Indianapolis in 1996. Ygnacio served Jehovah faithfully for over 60 years, and was a member of the Greenwood Spanish congregation. He touched the lives of many who had a willing heart to learn about Jehovah. He retired from the Indianapolis Public Schools system in 2014. He loved the sound of rainfall and spending time with his family and friends. He was the epitome of a good man, loyal husband, loving father, grandfather & great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, until the words of John:5:28,29 come to pass "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life." He is survived by his wife of 58 years and the love of his life Andreya C. Basaldua, his sister Maria "Bebe" Basaldua, his brother Frank Basaldua (Irma), his daughters Esmeralda Ann Mendoza (Ricky Mendoza), Damaris Dawn Galan (Felix Galan), Marina Lorelai Bennett (William F. Bennett), and son Paul Basaldua (Maria Lourdes),10 grandchildren, Ricky Santiago Mendoza, Sarah Elise Mendoza, Luisanna Rodriguez, Eduardo Javier Galan, E'Sha-E Mendoza, Amanda Rodriguez*, Esteban B. Ygnacio Rodriguez, Joan L. Basaldua, Alyssa J. Basaldua, Andres Y. Basaldua, and 5 great grandchildren, Isabella, Nina, Nikolas, Natalie, and Wyatt.
