Memorial Service will be Saturday, March 23, 11:00 am to 1:00pm at Albertson’s Mortuary, 1775 N Sherman Drive, Indianapolis.
Philip Jackson Barrett born on November 7, 1950 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Glen and Frances Barrett (deceased), passed away on March 8, 2019 in his hometown. He is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren. Husband to wife Debra Barrett and father to children Colton, Brandon, Jessica,Laura, and his best friend, his dog Max. Philip was the youngest of his 2 siblings Glen (deceased) and Judy. He graduated from Ben Davis and joined the Marines to serve his country. After growing up in the 50’s and 60’s,and living throughout the decades he later went on to have his four children and eventually settle down with his wife. He had a passion for firearms, appreciated motorcycles, sports cars, classic rock, and enjoyed some of his favorite foods such as hot dogs and coca cola. A bit of a goof and a friend to everyone, Philip Jackson Barrett was a true “All-American” man that always tried to do the right thing. There aren’t enough words but you will forever be remembered and cherished by your family and until we meet again, we love you.
