Karen Sue (McGee) Sharp, 78, passed away on December 30, 2020. She was born October 4, 1942 to the late John and Betty Marie (Fiddler) McGee. She
was a graduate of Penn High School in Mishawaka, Indiana. Karen is
survived by her husband, Michael; daughters, Terri Thomas and Lore
Futrell; son, Richard Futrell (Pam); sister, Sana Callaway (Lee);
brother, Gary McGee (Theresa) step-daughter, Kara Sharp; grandchildren, Lacy Kitkowski (Ryan), Levi Cardwell, Suzanne Thomas, Keith “T.J.” Thomas Jr., Christopher Wilson, Ashley Wilson Watson (George), Alexandria “Lexie” Wilson (Lexie); great grandchildren, Graham, Gabe, Grace, Joe, Madison, Dylon, Skie, Hailey, Justin, Desmond, Marcus, Cameron, Gavin, Camden, Moriah, Aubrie. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Nancy Brubaker. Karen was a successful cosmetologist and business owner for 40 years. She was also an animal lover and enjoyed taking care of her pets. Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will take place in the spring. The date to be announced.
