DE’AYRIS LEQUAN PERKINS

De’Ayris Lequan Perkins, 18, of Indianapolis IN, went home to be with the
Lord Friday, December 7, 2018 at Eskenazi Health. He was born June 02,
2000 in Lima, Ohio to Patricia Petaway and Jimmy Perkins, who both
survive. Ayris was a former boxer. He was honored by Gift of life of
Indiana. He became a hero in death and went on to save seven lives. He was
quite the protector and LOVED “BIG FACTS”. He enjoyed watching and playing
football. He was quite the jokester with a heart and smile big as this
world. Ayris is survived by his siblings Quay Sims of Lima, OH and a
sister, Ra’Jhaia Manley of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by the
love of his life Jayla Anderson, of Indianapolis, IN. He had many friends
and family he loved especially Daprecia Manley and Talib Petaway. He also
leaves a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial Services will be
held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 17th, 2018 at Savior’s Grace

Date: 3/14/2014 Zosimo Vargas We want to share our testimonial with each and everyone that can be experiencing a loss of a family member, a friend or just someone you know. After being a week in the hospital waiting for the recuperation of a great son, friend and brother, the time had come to accept the separation and departure of the one we love. As the leader of our congregation in Columbus, Ohio, I started my research in how to send our brother to his native country, Oaxaca, Mexico, to be with his wife Rosario Perez-Lopez and his 7 year old daughter, Nisi Shadai Vargas-Perez. I called the Columbus Ohio Hispanic Coalition for information. Mr. Josue Vicente was kind and informed us to call the Mexican Consulate in Indianapolis, Indiana. We needed financial support.
