John Carl Quakenbush, 37, passed away September 3, 2019. He was born to Jim and Vicki Quakenbush in Indianapolis, Indiana. John is survived by his son, Landyn; father, Jim Quakenbush; brothers, Josh, Ben and Jimmy; sisters, Sarah and Heather; 11 nieces and nephews; cousins; Aunts and Uncles; and his girlfriend, Amy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vicki and his grandparents. John was a funny kid. He made things laughable just by saying something a certain way, he had what his family refers to as “Johnisms.” He was also an adventurous kid. His brothers would often find him climbing trees and spending time outside exploring. His love for the outdoors continued throughout his life, he became an avid fisherman. John grew up in Indianapolis and attended Franklin Central High School. He was the third child out of five kids. Besides his love for the outdoors John had also developed an interest in computers and technology. He spent the majority of his life in the Food Service Industry, he enjoyed working and talking with all kinds of people. John was a great person, with a great heart and loved his family. He be truly and dearly missed by his family and his friends. A Memorial visitation will be Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 3:00pm -5:00pm with a memorial service to start at 5:00pm.
