Larry Neal Myers

January 7, 1946 – August 28, 2013
It would be hard to find another man that loved his family as much as Larry loved his family.
A loving husband of 46 years to Carolyn Myers. A devoted Father of two Children, Angela (Myers) Passios, and Larry Lee Myers.
A proud Pawpaw to six Grandchildren; Kayla Passios, Kristian England, Chelsey Passios, Christopher Passios, Austin Myers, and Patrick Myers. A Great Pawpaw of two Great Grandchildren; Joseph Passios and Kayden McConnell .
A baby Brother to three siblings; Kenny Myers, Sue (Myers) Brown, and Ralph Myers.
The Son of Owen and Jewel Myers, he was also an Uncle to eight, a Great Uncle to six, and a Great Great uncle to one.
Larry was a devout member of the Edgewood Methodist Church where he sang in the choir, was the Head Pastor Parish, met every first Saturday of the month with the Methodist Men, as well as helping out in the Church whenever needed. Larry served in the United States Army active duty from 1967 to 1969 and in the Army Reserves thru 1973. While in the Army, he earned three medals of distinction. They were the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the one medal he was most proud of was his Sharp Shooter M-14 Medal.
Services for Larry Myers will be at the Edgewood United Methodist Church , in Indianapolis, Indiana on Monday, September 2, 2013 with the viewing from 2-4 P.M. and the Funeral Service at 4:00 P.M. Interment is Tuesday September 3, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greenwood, Indiana
