Charles Robert Goss, 94, was born February 18, 1921 at Wolcott, Indiana, Son of Fred E. and Louie Mae Milner Goss. He died August 22, 2015 at Robin Run Village, where he was a resident for 27 years. He married the love of his life, Elizabeth J. Mitchell on June 29, 1958 and she survives. A lifelong farmer and graduate of Purdue, he was always interested in new farming practices and proud of his Century Farm, honored in 2005, south of Wolcott. He was an Army Air Corps veteran in WWII. He served on the Board for many years of the Emily Flynn Home. He was active in the community of Robin Run Village. A former member of the Wolcott Christian Church, a member of Augusta Christian Church and recently attending services at the Robin Run Village Chapel Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ralph E. Goss, and Lowell M. Goss; and five sisters, Loreene Moore Kent, Lucille Keller, Ada Mae Rogers, Marguerite Kent and Helen Binkley. Memorial Service Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Robin Run Village, 5354 West 62nd Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, Pastor Sam Johnson officiating. Graveside service at 4:30 pm the same day at Meadow Lake Cemetery, Wolcott, Indiana with Pastor Annella McFee.
