Yvonne Richell Armstrong was born on October 25, 1957 in Indianapolis, IN. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and a life long advocate of survivors of family and situational violence she counseled woman in Indiana and Kentucky she also received certification from IUPUI School of Lifetime learning to become a C.N.A. Instructor. A lover of art she influenced her grandchildren to open up their minds and to use critical thinking to solve issues and problems to overcome obstacles they face in life she would always say “let us discuss the possibilities of the situation”. She was very much loved, admired, respected, her passing has left a hole in the sun and it will never shine as bright again.

She is survived by her only child Connie Harris and her grandchildren Katrina Harris, Nyderia Harris, Assata Rush, Akil Harris and Nyobi Rush (her special protector), She is also survived by our loving Aunt Jean whom she loved dearly, Alexis Helms, Tazz Armstrong, Aaron Harris and the entire Harris Family and her closest friends Kelly Fox and Ms. Sylvia Wooten
