Jordan Renée Gunn
“The Chosen One”
Jordan was born Keoria M Brown. June 20, 2004, and she became a part of our family at the age of 22 months. Once her adoption was finally June 23, 2008, she became Jordan Renée Gunn. Her mom gave her the name “The Chosen One”
Jordan’s life was cut short on May 11th, 2024, due to senseless gun violence. This act of violence has left holes in the hearts of her loved ones.
Jordan was little but she was fierce and fearless. She never met a stranger and lived life her way. She had a heart made to protect others and if you were family or friend she was going to protect. Jae was small in stature but had the heart of a Lion.
Jordan had a love for singing, rapping, and dancing. She wrote her own songs and raps. She was very gifted and talented in braiding hair and drawing among other things.
Jordan was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Ralph and Mildred Hamilton and James Gunn. God-brother Krystian Hameen.
Those left to cherish the memory of Jordan mother, Jhervon Gunn, brother, Kelvin Mahone, sisters Qiana Taylor and Ayanna Jones. 2 beautiful nieces Amyah Mahone and Dymond Williams, 2 handsome nephews, Isaiah Jones and Jeremiah Sims all of Indianapolis, IN. God- sister, Jhervon Suber and God-brother, Chris Poole both of Gary, IN and God-brother, Gavin Hameen of Talladega, AL.

Jordan had 2 very special aunts Peggy Grant, of Indianapolis, IN and Chinnette Rowell, of Avon, IN. A host of other family and friends.
Home going service will be Saturday May 25th, 2024. Viewing will be at 12 noon followed by home going service at 1pm at Albertson’s Mortuary 1775 N Sherman Dr. Indianapolis, 46218. Jordan remains will be cremated.
