A funeral service for Deborah will be Sunday, August 11, 2024, starting at 4:00 pm with a viewing starting at 3:00 pm until time of the service, at Albertsons Mortuary, 1775 N Sherman Drive, Indianapolis, 46218.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Deborah J. Rouse, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, on July 30, 2024, at the age of 67. Deborah was a woman of immense kindness, unwavering love, and a deep commitment to those she held dear.
Born on March 9, 1957, to the late George and Virginia Staples. She was the devoted wife of late husband David Rouse, with whom she shared a remarkable partnership. Together, they worked side by side, not only in life but also in business, where Deborah’s strength and support were instrumental in helping her husband with his construction work.
Deborah’s heart was as big as her spirit, and she was always there to offer encouragement and support to those she loved. Her bond with her sister, Patty was particularly special. Deborah’s encouragement played a pivotal role in her sister’s decision to pursue nursing school, a career path that brought her great fulfillment. Their closeness was a testament to the love and care that Deborah so generously shared.
Deborah will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, care, and support will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Deborah is survived by her sister and caregiver, Patty Day; special niece and nephew, Patty Campbell (Jack) and Doug Day (Barb); home caregiver, Jamie Campbell; children, Edward Quintino Rouse (Mickey), David A. Rouse Jr. (April), Angela Lorraine Rouse Amonett; sister, Gail Staples Austin; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Deborah had a special bond with her friend who was also her Doctor, Sherri Bowen-Buzzard MD.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson, Noah Rouse, brothers, George “Eddie” Greene, Richard “Dickey” Staples, Edward Quintino “Tino” Staples, Paul Staples, and Dale Staples, sisters, Barbara Staples, and Jeannine Heagy

A service to honor Deborah’s life will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Albertsons Mortuary, 1775 N Sherman, Indianapolis, IN 46218, starting at 4:00 pm with a viewing from 3:00pm until time of the service.
