Ravenna Kay Lane obituary
Ravenna Kay Lane, 74 of Indianapolis passed away May 8, 2021. She was born May 21, 1946 to the late Ellis and Mary Eicher. She was born in Greensburg, Indiana. She graduated as President of her class, from Jackson High School. Ravenna worked for Quality Mill Supply in Columbus, Indiana and for University Heights Methodist Church in Indianapolis. Ravenna was a member of Edgewood United Methodist Church. She was on the church council, served on several church and memorial committees.
Ravenna is survived by her husband of 51 years, Harold Lane; daughter, Jennifer Eckstein (Albert); sons, Mark and John Lane; grandchildren, Eric, Caden, and Emilia; sister, Ramona Fish of Columbus, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Ravenna loved being a Grandma. Her favorite pastime was spending quality time with her grandkids. She was a regular at her grandkids school and sports functions. She was an avid reading and was never without her Kindle.
A funeral Service will be Wednesday, May 19, starting at 11:00am at the Edgewood United Methodist Church, 1820 E. Epler Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana 46227 with a visitation Tuesday, May 18 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home, 481 W. Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana 46142. There will be a visitation Wednesday, May 19 at 10:00am at the Edgewood United Methodist, an hour prior to the service.
