On April 23, 2020, Kesha LaRie Freeman, 42, passed away in her sleep, at her home in Hermitage, Tennessee. Kesha was born April 1, 1978. She was a great mother and loved her family dearly. Growing up Kesha loved sports and held high honors in junior high and high school. She had a kind heart and made many friends in her years in the healthcare and food service industry. She made a big impact on their lives by being a good friend, good listener and a great manager. Kesha had a talent for making people laugh right when they needed a good laugh. She was always willing to lend a hand, help with any problem put in front of her and bringing out the best in people. Kesha is loved by so many and will be remembered by everyone who crossed her path.
Kesha is survived by her parents, Kathryn and Larry Hicks; husband, Scott Freeman; children, who she loved so dearly, son, Vakieron Hicks, daughters, Vatalya and Valycia Strong; siblings, Keala Sanders (Roger), DeAndre Glover (Monique), Jason Hicks (Gina); many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Darrell and Betty Hicks of Indianapolis, Catherine Guiden also of Indianapolis and Coleman Guiden of Chicago, Illinois.
A Celebration of Life for Kesha will take place Saturday, May 2, 2020 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Albertsons Mortuary, 1775 N Sherman Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana 46218
