Deanna Lyn Marcum, 53, passed away peacefully at her home in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, of late-stage emphysema, and post-surgery complications. She was born in Indianapolis, IN, November 17th, 1972, to parents Willa D Thompson, (deceased), and Conrad R Marcum SR. Left behind to honor her memory are her grandbabies whom she loved dearly Jazzy, and Zayden Scott of Anderson, IN, and one baby boy in the oven born of Ryan Pantzar, and Ashley, her two handsome sons as she would say George Scott Indianapolis, IN, and Ryan Pantzar Matthews, IN. Her Husband Kevin D Muncy Indianapolis, IN, and partner Scott Davenport Indianapolis, IN. Mother Willa D Thompson (deceased), Father Conrad R Marcum SR, Ocala FL, Brother Conrad R Marcum JR Ocala, FL. Sister Michelle A Bracewell Indianapolis, IN. Many Aunts Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews who will miss her dearly also. Deanna loved life, from riding Harleys, to keeping up with the best of them at rock concerts; she loved her dog Toby deeply, as well as her pet fish. Deanna loved more than anything in the world, was spending time with the grandbabies at any chance she could. Mom absolutely Loved being a grandparent. Deanna had a passion for the kitchen, and loved to cook, one of her proudest moments was becoming a chef, and providing meals to the Colts and the Pacers. Really the entire league, because she also cooked for the rival teams coming into Indiana. Her family will miss her innovativeness in the kitchen, and all the love she has given throughout the years. Deanna was truly an amazing woman, selfless mother, and a grandma superhero. Deanna has made lots of friends and has imprinted on many throughout the years as a bartender. She really enjoyed her work, and all the folks she worked with. Deannas family will be forever grateful to all those friends who stepped up and helped with all the doctor’s visits, surgeries, post op etc… Deanna will have many that miss her talks, laughs, and everything else that comes with Deanna. She was full of life when her health was good and was an inspiration to many when she was sick. Deanna will be deeply missed by many and will be forever reunited with all loved ones in God’s kingdom. 

There will be a celebration of life gathering at the Kitley inn on June 13th, 2026, starting at 2:00 pm for anyone that may want to attend to celebrate the beautiful life of Deanna Lyn Marcum.
