Gloria Etta Cox Pelfrey, 74 of Greencastle, Indiana went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 13, 2020. Gloria was born on November 13, 1946 to Richard and Cordia Cox. She was a loving mom, grandma and aunt. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed her grandson and was her pride and joy. She loved him to the moon and back. Gloria married Floyd Pelfrey on April 25, 1964. She has worked at several places including JCPenney and the Wal -Mart distribution center. Survivors are her daughter Melissa Pelfrey Brown and husband George of Cloverdale, Indiana, grandson Leslie Brown, her sister Ardella Evens of Greencastle, Indiana, brother-in-law Joe Crooks of Greencastle, Indiana and a special friend Dave Lucas Cloverdale, Indiana and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, daughter Gina Pelfrey Smelcer and husband Richie, sisters Richa Lou Ford and husband Ray, Viola Langdon and husband Fred, Wanda Gerber and husband Bill, brother-in-law Ronnie Evens and Rosa Crooks.
