Jermaine “Jerri” Kathleen Nuckles, 63, beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother gained her wings on Saturday March 4, 2023, in Rushville, Indiana.
Jerri was born on April 15, 1959, to Ernest McBride and Faye Marie Freeman in Indianapolis, Indiana. Jerri graduated from Emmerich Manual High School and began her career in bookkeeping. She received many certificates of achievement and continuing education along the way. She married William Mark Nuckles on May 14, 1976, while he served in the Navy. During their marriage they brought two amazing children into this world William “Billy” Jack and Jennifer Marie. She was blessed with four beautiful grandchildren Paige Noel, Abbigayle Marie, Taylor Brooke, and TJ whom she worshiped the ground they walked on. She loved hanging out with her sister and cutting up about the many funny memories they shared. Jerri loved crafting any chance she got whether it was sewing, painting, or creating beautiful one of a kind, woodworking piece. She took great pride turning flower beds into colorful beauties. She loved attending drag races where she cheered her husband, son, and son-in-law on. She always made sure everyone was well fed in the pits in between races. She would always tell you when she appreciated a nice muscle car.
Jerri is survived and missed by her loving husband William Mark Nuckles of 46 years, daughter Jennifer (Terry) Mooney, grand-children, Paige Noel Sherman, Abbigayle Marie Mooney, Taylor Brooke Mooney, and Terry Pat Mooney. A grandmother love is never ending and cherish those special memories and talk about them often! Losing a wife and best friend is so so hard remember all good and bad times or arguments because they will make you laugh at how silly they were😊 A sister is a forever friend that has the most memories as you grew side by side and were always theirs for each other remember all those times because she is an angel guarding over you all❤️ My thoughts and prayers are with you always and will help you celebrate on the 25th! I am so sorry. I loved Jeri very much. We had so much fun working together. I will miss her badly. She was the only best friend I had. My heart is aching. I will never forget her. She was so much fun being around. Her attitude and her heart made her one of a kind. I am praying for the family. If there is anything I can do just call me. 463 271 1921.
