ANTHONY DEWAYNE MYERS was born on March 7, 1975, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the only son of Florence L. Myers. Anthony, affectionately known to many close family members, as ‘ Tony Man’ and ‘Pisces’ to others, was Raised amongst four sisters by mother and the late, James L. Dalton Jr. Tony attended Indianapolis Public Schools.  Tony professed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church under the Pastoral of the late, Jonathan Bailey Sr.  Tony loved working with his hands and had a way of ‘just figuring things out.’ What some would find challenging came as a knack to him. Tony had a fascination for cars, especially ‘old school’ and loved the challenge of restoring them to mint condition. He often would take pictures afterwards to share with family and friends.  Tony loved and cherished his mother to whom he was especially close. Tony was a devoted father and single parent for many years who loved and treasured his children infinitely. He was married in 2006 to Stacy Pippens which ended in divorce. No children were born to this union. He adored his sisters and to them was ‘big brother’, protector, confidant, and friend. Tony loved his entire family and embraced extended family brother and sisterhood.  Tony truly loved life and despite his continually failing eyesight due to Retinitis Pigmentosa, faced every day with a big, genuine smile, lighthearted sense of humor and exemplified a life of encouragement, determination, and persistence. His magnetic personality made him someone you would have love to be in close circle. He passionately loved music! Tony was humorous, compassionate, and caring. Coffee-thirty’ was his morning greeting and ‘gotta figure it out’ was his motivational attitude throughout the day. He had a winning prospective and one of his inspirational melodies was ‘Win’ by Brian McKnight. Tony departed this life on October 12, 2022, at the age of 47 years, 7 months. He will be sadly missed by all who loved and knew him.  Anthony leaves to cherish his memory; daughter, Maria Williams, sons, Anthony D. Jr., DeWayne A., and Antonio D.
