Shortly after completing job Core, Cullen became an active student at Brown Mackie College where he was earned his Medical Assistant degree in 2014. He was just months away from earning his Applied Science Associates degree.
Cullen was a trustworthy, resourceful, and giving brother. He was an articulate, respected friend, and an active, committed caring father.

Cullen Chattam Hubbard, on August 2, 2016 at the age of twenty seven years and twenty five days departed this life to go home and be with the Lord. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his Mother, Valerie M. Chattam, Father, Fedrick S. Hubbard Jr., son, Cullen A. Hubbard Jr., brothers, Robert F. Hubbard, Josh S. Chattam, Juniues C. Hubbard, Winston C Hubbard, Cordell C. Hubbard, sister, Staice R. Chattam, and a host of other relatives and very special friends.
While attending Brown Mackie College, I had the pleasure of working with Cullen and Cordell. Cullen and I had just met the day before his passing. We discussed the changes to his degree and I was excited to know that he was expected to graduate again by the end of the year. Cullen was a very respectful young man, who was about his business and in the right field to help and care for others. Many of my coworkers remember Cullen and were sadden to hear about his passing. I personally was in shock because we had just seen each other, and all I could do is replay the moments of our conversation. My condolences to his family. May God comfort, give you strength and peace. Cullen has gained his wings and I know that he is watching over all of you. Peace and Blessings
