Jackie M. Boothman 7/28/1955, was called home to God on 1/30/2022. Jackie is survived by her loving and adoring husband Jeff, two daughters, Krystal Irish and Laura and Ryan Bousman. Jackie had three grandsons Daniel Irish, Will Bousman, and Jake Bousman. She is survived by her mother, Emma Sisk and siblings Nancy Leonard, Debbie Bagby, Mark Sisk, and David Sisk. Jackie was loved by everyone that met her. She always had a smile on her face, and she was always laughing. She spent many years as a homemaker, staying home with her daughters and providing a loving environment for them. After her daughters were old enough, she re-entered the work force. She met her wonderful husband Jeff in 2002 and they were married May 1, 2004. Their favorite vacation spot was Myrtle Beach, SC. Jackie loved the beach and Jeff loves the golf. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to The American Society of Transplantation and The American Cancer Society. A Celebration of Life will be, Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the Franklin Road Christian Church at 950 N Franklin Road, Indianapolis, IN 46219 starting at 4:00 pm.
I was overwhelmed after hearing of Jackie passing on to another life which I’m sure she will be greeted with open arms. And it will even become a better place because Jackie is there. I had the absolute privilege of working with her for many years at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. We discovered we had so many things in common and became the closest of friends. She was a professional, was intelligent, always cared about doing her job well, and cared even more about helping people. She was one of the special people and I was always glad she met another special person in her husband Jeff. Those who knew her were blessed and will always miss and remember her.
