Kurt B. Stevens, 71 , of Greenwood, dear husband of Rebecca Stevens went to be face-to-face with the Lord (2Cor. 5:8) Sunday, August, 16, 2015 surrounded by his family. Kurt had dedicated his life to living the Mind of Christ (1Cor. 2:16) and passing that heritage on to his family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 19 at 7:00 p.m. in Living Word Bible Church, 6306 Gray Road, Indianapolis. Kurt is survived by his brother Tom Stevens, children Bart Stevens (Sherry), Denise Clark (Jim), Eric Maxwell (Jen), David Woodard (Amy), Mark Woodard (Jana), and 9 precious grandchildren.
Kurt wrote a blog titled CrazyGeezer.com that proved a voracious appetite for wit and humor blended with serious life topics. He would expect a similar approach to his celebration of life service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Living Word Bible Church as half of those donations will go to New Life Recovery Home

Words fail me. I know from hearing Becky talk about him that he was a kind, loving man. The world needs more of those. He touched many lives it seems so his legacy will live on. My heartfelt sympathy to the family he left behind.
