Mary Antionette Peeples was born on March 10, 1951, in Evansville, Indiana to the late Jesse Lee Peeples, Sr and the late Ruth Deloris Peeples. Mary transitioned from time to eternity on Sunday, March 31, 2024. Mary confessed her life to Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Gary, Indiana. She was also a graduate of Roosevelt High School class of ’69 in Gary, Indiana.
Mary attended Marion University and pursued a career in the medical field. She retired from Harrison Terrace in Indianapolis, Indiana and she was a medical records specialist. Mary was also an avid gardener who loved to plant vegetables and flowers. She also loved cats and dogs. Mary’s most recent loves were Angel, Rocky, and Batman.
Mary leaves to cherish her memory a brother Jesse Lee Peeples, Jr of Atlanta, Georgia, 3 sisters, Debra (Ronald) Hollingsworth, Gary, Indiana, Donna (Jerry) Patton, Gary, Indiana and Martha Kimbrough, Indianapolis, Indiana. Nieces and nephew, Jennifer (Raymond) Franklin, Indianapolis, Indiana, Jesse Lee (Keia) Peeples, III, Atlanta, Georgia, Jerrilynn Patton, Merrillville, Indiana, and Roniece Hollingsworth, Indianapolis, Indiana. Great niece and nephews, Jazmine and Jason Peeples, Atlanta, Georgia and Christopher Franklin, Indianapolis, Indiana, Companion, Gill Watson, Uncle Joe Rouse, Indianapolis, Indiana, and a host of cousins and other relatives.
