Church. Mattie loved her family and friends.  She was always the life of the party with her smile and jokes.  To know her was to love her.  Purple was her favorite color as she loved the meaning, which was traditionally associated with royalty, rarity, magic and the overall mystery of the color. Throughout her working career, she most enjoyed her position as a security guard as she was always the one protecting others.  She was an avid bingo player and when at home she would entertain herself by working crossword puzzles, watching movies, and entertaining the abundance of friends who was always showing consistently to her home.  Her niece Lil Tommie and her nephew Mikal were the apples of her eyes.  She spoiled them day in and day out without hesitation. Mattie departed this life on October 17th, 2021 at the age of 57 years, 6 months, and 25 days.  She was preceded in death by her parents Florence Fain and Ulus Williams, Sr.; sister Vivian Williams; and brothers Samuel Strong, Ulus Williams, Jr. and David Williams.
