My deepest condolences to all of Michael’s family, friends, classmates, teachers and every single person that loved Michael. I had the pleasure of teaching Michael this past year as his American Sign Language teacher. Being an online teacher it is hard sometimes to get to know your students but Michael was one of those students that interacted with me on a regular basis in class and did his best when submitting his assignments. He often would upload his assignments and share his computer with other classmates and could be seen leading the others on how to complete the assignment. I always enjoyed seeing him on Zoom. One class in particular Michael was signing the letter R with his palm facing In which changes the sign from just the letter R to the sign for best friend. I made a small joke about me being his best friend because of the palm orientation of his R. He responded “alright then cool I’ll just sign it like that.” I have a feeling Michael had a ton of friends as in the interactions I had with him he was always a pleasant young man. Please know I’m sending my love and lights and a ton of hugs to all of you during this very difficult time. I wish I didn’t live 600 miles away or I’d be there in person Thursday. When the time is right if a member of his family would like the videos Michael submitted for his ASL assignments please reach out to me and I’ll send them to you. Rest in Eternal Peace Michael. I loved being your ASL teacher and was so very proud of you on your progress and journey of learning ASL. I’ll miss you and your awesome hair! 🤟
my condolences to your family on the unexpected loss of your loved one {son, brother, cousin, nephew, grandson, friend, classmate, teammate} I pray that somehow God will give you some peace and strength to go on living your lives without this precious piece of your heart that is now missing. My daughter Nikala attended Rooted School Indy with Michael, and she told me he was well loved by all. He will be missed dearly.
With Deepest Sympathy,
The Wilson Family
