Rebecca Davis-Harris went to be with her lord and savior Sunday, December 1, 2019. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family and the Lord. Rebecca was born March 21, 1951 in New Castle, Indiana to the late James and Margaret Davis. She was a 1969 Graduate of Spiceland High School. She worked as an administrative assistant until she retired.
She is survived by Husband David of Greenwood; daughter Alissa(Bob) Albertson of Greenwood; step children Chris Harris of Greenwood and Jenny Brown of Greenwood; 11 Grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother Bruce (Janet) Maynard of Florida; sisters, Mona Davis of Anderson and Laura (Ken) Wenger of Muncie; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and her Church family. She was proceeded in death by her parents and her sister Vicky Schakel of Beech Grove. Rebecca will be dearly missed. A Funeral Service will be on Thursday, December 5, at 12:30pm with a visitation from 10:am to time of the service at the Shelby Street Pentecostal Lighthouse Church, 8620 Shelby Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. Following the Funeral Service the Interment will take place at the Circle Grove Cemetery in Spiceland, Indiana. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in honor of Rebecca to the American Heart Association or H.O.P.E. Academy (a ministry of Shelby Street Pentecostal Lighthouse Church).
