Mr. Gish was the best teacher that I ever had. He gave me an appreciation for logic and precision that has served me well. May he rest in peace. I graduated from North Central High School in 1965.
I did not study with Gordon at NCHS, my then boyfriend did, but I came to know and admire him as a fellow member of the Scientech Club. He will be missed.
Mr. Gish was one of my favorite teachers at North Central in the late 60’s. I had the pleasure of seeing him at Robin Run a little over a year ago, while I was visiting my father-in-law.
I will always remember Mr. Gish as a very pleasant and caring teacher and person. He enriched my life. I feel for your loss.
Kurt, Debbie, and Galen,
May you find comfort and peace in that Gordon experienced a miracle which allowed him to live so many years following lung cancer.
With our deepest sympathy, Jane, Dave, Alan and Family – The Ellers.
We will not be able to attend the memorial service, as we are scheduled to be in Florida on December 28th.
Sorry to hear of Gordon’s passing. Know he lived a good full Christian life. Teaching children must have been a rewarding experience for him. Grandpa Dave and Grandma Louise did an excellent job raising those boys. Although we were not close I always remember the fun times I had out on the farm when I was a little fellow.
Condolences to his kids and his family.
