Jaime (Gillum) Gibson, 50, of Danville, passed away on January 8, 2022, in the comfort of her own home.
Jaime was born on January 25, 1971, in Danville, Indiana. She was raised in Plainfield by her parents James and Toni Gillum. She graduated from Plainfield High School in 1989. She was accepted and attended Herron School of Art and Design as well as IUPUI Nursing Program. She was equally passionate about art as she was with science. She married her middle school sweetheart, Joe Gibson, on June 22, 1991. That’s when her family and adventure started. She went on to have four daughters who they raised in Danville, Indiana. Jaime always had an open door policy where there was an open spot at her table for any family, friend, or person in need. She gained so many friends and fun stories that way! Jaime was an extremely strong, resilient, and tenacious woman. She had a warmth that was felt by her entire community. She was preceded in death by her mother, Toni, and brother, Jimi. She was survived by her husband, Joe, daughters (Jesika, Jade, Jaira, and Jillian), grandsons (Mason, Noah, Micah, and Thomas), siblings (Jill and Kharja), father, James, and many more extended family and friends. Her celebration of life will be held on January 29 from 2-5 pm at Hendricks County Fairgrounds Expo Hall. We invite you to come celebrate the extraordinary life Jaime had.
