Wright Tony pic 1TONY WRIGHT PASSED AWAY JULY 28, 2019.    Memorial Service will be Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Jewel Event Center, 3333 N. Illinois.

Antonio (T-Bone) L. Wright, 48, passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2019 in Howard Cty, IN. Born to Clarence “Dale” Wright and Terri (Smith) Cole on July 12, 1971. Tony, lived a life that was his own and through his life he had a major impact on each and every person he encountered. Tony graduated from Lawrence Central High School and attended Southern Illinois University. Tony also toured with hip hop group X-Clan and can be known for his song “Blaze”.  Tony’s passions included: his motorcycle, football, being a DJ, cooking, and advocating for his people and community through knowledge and teachings. Best believe if you spoke on any of these passions you would need to prepare yourself to have your eyes and mind opened. Tony coined the phrase “I AM THE VILLAGE” and indeed he was. There is not a person he met that he didn’t leave an impression. Tony was well known & respected throughout the neighborhood and motorcycle community. He was a loving husband, remarkable father, great son, brother, friend and mentor and will be deeply missed Tony leaves to cherish his memory: wife Janelle Renee (Singleton) Wright; Son, Jelani Akil Wright; Daughters, Brittany Nicole Rice, Alexis Keyera Polk & Donita La’Shay Wright; Brothers, Sam (Dune) Wilson, Antonio (AW) Williams, James (Duke) Earl Anderson Jr. & Darrell Anderson Sr.; Sister, Tamika Wilson; mother, Terri (Smith) Cole;  a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, family & friends.  Tony was preceded in death by his grandmothers Barbara Jean (Morrison) Combs and Anna Mae Wright and father Clarence “Dale” Wright.
